Airborne Health, Inc. Stops Misrepresentations
Cold weather brings various illnesses and this includes needing various medication or remedies. We know of some medical means but one has been discovered to be misrepresenting their product as a cure for the common cold.
For their troubles, Airborne are now tasked to settle over $7 million dollars to 33 states aside from stopping the said advertisements for misleading consumers into believing that Airborne products can really cure colds.
“Airborne dramatically misrepresented its products as cold remedies without any scientific evidence to back up its claims,” Brown said. “Under this agreement, the company will stop advertisements that suggest that its products are a cure for the common cold.”
