Oh Kevin Smith… you were finally able to dodge the X/NC-17 ratings and get your movie into theaters with a R, but then, you tried to sneak this poster into the light boxes. For his latest [hysterical] flick, Smith aka Silent Bob, had to go through quite the process for “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” to even be seen in the theaters. With a name like that, it shouldn’t be a surprise. And now, the MPAA has banned the above poster for promotional use in the US. Too late if you ask me. The thing is all over the internet (like…right now, here) and if you can cross the border into Canada you’ll probably see it. But okay, fine, go ahead and shield the kiddies from the joke they probably won’t even get. Sad though, I think the poster is awesome… and funny… and probably suits the film to a T. Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to settle for tame promos and and pay for the edgier stuff.
