Disrupt this, Starbucks!

A lot of very interesting discussion is occurring around the leaked memo from Starbucks Chairman Howard Schultz.
One of the best posts on the topic has got to be by Paul with Anti-Marketing.
"Disruption theory says that products or services evolve incrementally to better meet the needs of the most demanding customers, but eventually overshoot the needs of most consumers."
Howard seems to realize that his brand is seriously at risk, but how will Starbucks respond?
Perhaps the better question is a more personal one. Is your business ready for disruption?
