Spammy-o, oh Spammy-o, Wherefore Art Thou, Spammy-o?

Mine gentle limbs and tender hearth hath lain in MySpace, fair gentle lady.  I hath been putteth there by douchecan Scott Richter, for he hath an evil dark soul and money-hungry fingers.  He doth also oweth Microsofteth 7 million buckeths.

It’s true, Spam-extraordinaire Scott Richter is now being sued by MySpace.  You phish, you lose, my friend.

Sweetly, Mashable took this opportunity to throw marketers (as a generalized mass) under the bus as well:

"Marketers have been using so-called friend adder bots and bulletin-sending tools for some time, but Scott Richter is accused
of spreading viruses and phishing for account details which he used to
spread more spam…"

See… good thing that this is just "something we do," not, like, a felony or anything.
